Foxhunting: It is a very popular sport in Irland. Sport? Yes, sport! The aristocratic hunters say that foxhunting is a sport. Mandy people are against and I can understand this opinion. I think it is very cruel an dbarbarous. What is funny about it? There are dorgs, which chase poor foxes and deers. Soon the animals can not run anymore and the hounds tear them to pieces. The hunters ride on horseback and look after the dogs. I can not understand how the men stand up at night and hunts animals. But sometimes I can understand the hunter. They have to controll the foxes because there are too many. I think that a lot of the animals eat healthy chicken, ducklings and rabbits and that is a problem. But the foxes do not eat only healthy animals, they also eat ill ones. This is a negativ aspect of foxhunting. All died and ill animals are eaten.
But the Irish people have to find a way. Should they allow foxhunting or not? I think only farmers are allowed to kill the foxes and not everybody. Is a animal too dangerous because of rabiet or another illness, the farmers are allowed to kill the foxes. But I am totally against that foxhunting is a sport or a hobby. Golf or Fishing is also a hobby and it is not so much dangerous.

From Monday the 3rd of March to Friday the 7th of March there was EiA (English in Action) at the BG/BRG Wieselburg. Every class of the fourth form got two Native Speaker from Great Britain. Lynn and Spike were our teachers during that week. When we saw them for the first time, they looked very kind and likeable. Our class was devided into two groups. In the third lesson on Monday Verena and Alexandra changed groups and Melissa came to us. Fter that change it was very noisy and we couldn’t concentrate anymore. We told it to our teacher, but she didn’t do anything about it. Alexandra wanted to be in one group with Melanie and Ronja; Melissa said to me that she hadn’t spoken to the other kids in the second group. I think they didn’t have any reason to change the group.
On Tuesday we didn’t recognize the noise again and we had a lot of fun with Lynn and Spike as well. Spike was fascinated by Hansi Hinterseer and he always talked about his idiol.
At the end of the week we couldn’t hear anything about Hansi anymore. Lynn was also fascinating and with her we played „CHANGE PLACES“ everyday. It’s a funny game and our group, except Manuel, enjoyed it a lot. We also revised the „IF – SENTENCES“ and we learnt a them easily. On Friday every group had a presentation and performed a sketch. Our presentation was about „The Beatles“ and very informative. Our talkshow, I was Nicole Kidman , was funny. I think it was an interesting week with nice people and we lerant a lof about the English language.

My school is the Gymnasium in Wieselburg. There are 799 purpils and more than 60 teachers.
My classteacher is Mag. Barbara Muttenthaler and my englishteacher Mag. Franz Gruber. Our headmaster is a very strict person, but if you have problems you can go to him. He is called Mag. Gottfried Müllschitzky.
After the primary school you can intend the Gymnasium. It’s sometimes very funny, but you have to learn a lot.

It’s one of the biggest problems nowadays- GLOBAL WARMING!             

People all over the world pollute the earth with harmful industrial waste. THere are al ot of car exhaust fumes because nobody take the bike and everybody drives cars. Many foresters cut down the rainforests.

The consequence is that many animals become extinct and the world temperature increase.  Metereologists warn of the green house effect. The glacier will be melt and in Africa there will be hotter, so the people won’t work in the sun. Thererfore they won’t get enough money to buy food. That’s my opinion. I also think that we can’t stop global warming completely. We must stop driving car, we arent’t allowed to go abroad on holidays and we don’t have to drink anything out of plastic bottles because we can’t recycle these things well. But I think we are able to delay global warming.

One day, the Lins were invited to their neighbours, the Gleasons. The LIns were Chinese and they didn’t know how to eat raw celery. In China they don’t eat any vegetables raw. Suddenly they realized that the American people weren’t doing the same. Some time later the LIns went out to dinner because the father had just been given a much better job. They ere in a very expensive french resteraunt. The father knew that the menue had been in French, so he took out a dictionary and translated the menue. In the room it was very dark because there only were candles, so the mother took out a torch and she lighted the menue. The Lins also didn’t know how to eat soup. They slurped the soup and the Americans looked at them. The girl felt ashemend of her family.                                          Three months later th LIns gave a Chinese dinner party and their American friends didn’t know how to eat Chinese food.

A very dangerous, but also fascinating sport for some people is boxing. The most famous boxer are the Klitschko brothers. Some people like to watch the matches and others don’t like to do that. I can understand both opinions. The people, who like it, want to see blood. The others think it is ridiculous to stand in a ring of eight square metres and punch another boxer. „It is all about business“, many people say and that’s the truth. Boxers get a lot of money. The men or the women do it all for the money, but why is it all about business?

Well, one of the reasons as said befor, is that the boxers get money. Many of them have families at home and with boxing they have a revenue. The second reason is that the people, who like boxing, always watch the matches on TV. So they get more and more bloodthirsty. This is one of the problems. Another problem is that the sport is very dangerous because if the boxers are always punched into their faces, they will get scars after a time. I think everyone should decide for themselves, if the ywatch boxing on TV or if they don’t.

Madness skiiing is a very dangerous sport, which isn’t done by many people. One of them is Scott Scofield, who skies in the Alps. He jumps over rocks, where nobody thinks about skiing. Scott needs cool nerves and a lot of self-discipline. Scofield is alone in the mountains and so he has enough time to concentrate so that he doesn’t do any mistakes. If the skier makes mistakes he could die because the mountains are very high.

 This is my little nephew!

My halfsister Stephanie got married in October. (I have written a text about the marriage!)And now she has a baby with his husband.

On 5th of February 2008 my nephew Markus was born. He was around three kilos and 51 centimetre. Markus Franz Christian was four days in the hospital and then he was allowed to go home. Markus is the favourite name of my sister and her husband. Franz is the name of his father and grandfather. Christian is the name of his uncle. If Markus were a girl his name would be Lena Stephanie Maria. Now my father is grandfather and he don’t like this feeling. He says that he is too young to be grandfather.

At the beginning some facts about the band: The four members are John Winston Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The band was founded in 1962 and finally dissolved in 1970. Famous songs are: Help!, Yellow Submarine, Yesterday, Let it be, Hey Jude, She’s a woman , Hello Goodbye and many other songs.

Now I will tell you something about the four members of the band:

The first member I want to talk about is John Lennon. He was born in 1940 and killed in 1980 by Mark David Chapman. Lennon was one of the singers in the band, he played the guitar and also the mouth-organ. Mark David Chapman  killed him, because he thought that he was the real John Lennon. In 1962 John married Cynthia Powell. Their son, called Julian, was born in 1963. In 1969 Lennon married Yoko Ono, with whom he had another son, Sean.

The next member I want to describe is the richest British musician, Paul McCarntey. He was born in 1942 in Liverpool. The man was singer too, but he also played the guitar, the bass and the drums. His wives were Jane Asher, Linda Eastman and Heather Mills. His children are Marry, Stella, James and Beatrice Milly. Paul also adopted Linda Eastman’s daughter Heather.

The nex musician in the band is George Harrison , who was born in 1943 and died in 2001 because of cancer. In the band he sang and played the guitar. He married Patti in 1966 and Olivia aRias in 1978. With her he had one son, called Dhani.

The last one in the band is Ringo Starr. Everbody knows him as ‘Ringo Starr’, but just few people know his real name, which is Richard Starkey. Richard was born in 1940 in Liverpool. He married Maureen Cox, with her he had three children Zacharias, or also called Zak, Jason and Lee. Once, Zak was a member of the band ‘The Who’ for a while. In 1981 Ringo Starr married Barbara Bach from the USA.

Now just Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are alive. Since 2006 Paul McCartney has been on TV quite often, because he left his wife Heather Mills.
